Back & Lower Limb Pain

Back & Lower Limb Pain
Back Pain
Back pain is one of the most common ailments encountered and can be divided into sudden onset (acute) pain or longstanding (chronic) pain. The former benefits most from early treatment whilst the latter can be effectively treated and managed with a fresh assessment and treatment plan. Increasing mobility, restoring strength, reducing pain and improving functionality are of paramount importance and we endeavour to do all of the above.

Lower Limb Pain
Any of the joints from the hip to the toes may be involved in problems of the lower limb. Inflammation of the soft tissues, imbalances of muscle groups and damage to the nerves can lead to pain or numbness. A thorough assessment followed by a specific treatment plan can effectively deal with lower limb problems, such as trochanteric bursitis, ligament sprains, etc. Exercise plans tailor made to the patient's needs strengthen the muscles and mobilise the joints and prevent recurrence of injury.
